Pelekas, Corfu - holiday in a traditional village house

Why not spend your Corfu holiday in a traditional village house with panoramic views of the sea and countryside?

Nestling in a quiet back street in the old part of Pelekas, this traditional village house dates back to the 19th century. It has been lovingly restored and offers unique accommodation at a very affordable price. The elevated position not only means great views of Corfu's mountainous west coast, the Ionian Sea, Corfu Town, and the Greek and Albanian mainland, but also cooling summer breezes.

Downstairs accommodation consists of a living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, shower/WC and, connected by an outside staircase, a double bedroom and large balcony upstairs. The bedroom is air-conditioned and has lots of cupboard and wardrobe space. There is a double sofa-bed in the living room meaning that the house can sleep up to four persons. All windows have mosquito blinds and the bed has a mosquito net. In the living room there is a table and four chairs but you may well choose to enjoy your breakfast or evening meal on the balcony, sitting under the grape vine and taking in those great views. We offer free Wi-Fi!

Pelekas itself is located on Corfu's west coast, close to two of the island's best beaches - Kontogialos (Pelekas Beach) and Glyfada. Just a minute or so away from Avgi's House you'll find mini-markets, a bakery, restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. During the summer the village square hosts a number of concerts ranging from traditional music to modern rock. Close by are Corfu Golf Club and Aqualand Water Park, while a frequent bus service links the village with historic Corfu Town.

The house is available all year. We speak Greek, English, French and Italian. Please feel free to contact us for more information, prices and availability by e-mailing info@pelekasvillageholiday.com or by phoning +30 69459 32006.
